Grant Silverstein

While being an American from Scottsdale, AZ, Grant is no stranger to the JICNY. He has been an active volunteer for many years, chairing the Annual Gala’s Fundraising Committee for the past three years. Grant grew up in a household where both Jewish values and community involvement were always the priority of how to live your life. While he is not international, what attracted Grant to the JICNY was it’s openness to every Jew regardless of their background and the sense of community that is creates for so many. Grant has background in fundraising and community development. He has Masters of Social Work and Certificate in Jewish Communal Services from Yeshiva University/Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Currently, Grant is the Development Director for the JICNY. Grant is a strong believer in the role community plays in people’s lives.While he is in the same country as his family, being cross country, he knows how important it is to have friends as friends become your family where you live. The JICNY family has become his NY family.
