Stories from the Holocaust with Mr John Fransman, Holocaust Survivor.
Born in 1939 in Amsterdam, John and his parents were arrested in 1943 and sent to Camp Westerbork before being transported to Bergen-Belsen, where he was released on 6 or 7 April 1945. Six days later he was rescued from a train, by the American 9th army.
At age 7, John moved to London and worked as an Entrepreneur and retired in 1999. In 2011 John and his wife made Aliyah and moved to Jerusalem where his son lives. His daughter still lives in London.
With opening remarks from Rabbi Isadore Rubenstein, Holocaust educator with many years of experience teaching and guiding groups in Poland and Europe
