Dr Rabbi Jack Cohen's was born in Cairo, Egypt to a Sephardic father from Syria and Ashkenazi mother from Odessa, Ukraine . The family left Egypt after the 6-day War and migrated to NYC. He attended Yeshiva University high school for boys followed by college at NYU and Harvard for an undergraduate study in premed. Rabbi Cohen has been educated under great Torah luminaries like Rabbi Avigdor Miller and Rav Shalom Arush.
Recently retired from medicine, his full-time work is dedicated to educating the Jewish public on how to date successfully. To date, Rabbi Cohen has over 500 shiurim on dating and shalom bayis on Torahanytime.com and has published over 400 articles. He is a sought-after mentor in our community.
Having facilitated over 1500 shidduchim, his impact on Jewish dating and marriage is unparalleled. Most recently, he was featured on the NETFLIX series hit “Jewish Matchmaking”
