Robby Berman

My name is Robby Berman and I’m a tour guide in Israel. My dirty secret is that when I’m working I don’t feel like I’m working and yet I’m still getting paid for it. Grew up Orthodox and I’m a graduate of Yeshiva University. I made Aliya right after graduation. I’m curious about everything, big reader and smeller of flowers. Believe in human and political rights for all people, not just Jews.

I recently wrote and published a book on Arabic idioms in the Palestinian dialect and the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, loved the book so much he invited me to the official President’s residence to officially thank me for my book’s contribution to Israeli/Palestinian dialogue.
In addition to English, I speak fluent Hebrew & Arabic.

I have been to JIC events in America & Israel and I think it’s a great way to meet people. I have attended the JIC Connections singles events in NYC, and I am also leading a JIC Pesach tour for singles next week in the Old City!
