Speaker, Rabbi Charles Savenour
"What Cowboys, Zombies & Rabbis Teach us about a Life of Meaning"
Rabbi Charlie Savenor serves as the Director of Congregational Education at the Park Avenue Synagogue. A graduate of Brandeis University, he was ordained at JTS Rabbinical School in 1996. He earned a Masters of Education at Columbia University, Teachers College in 2008. A member of the International board of Gesher, Rabbi Savenor is a volunteer fundraiser for lone soldiers through Nefesh B'Nefesh. Rabbi Savenor’s articles on leadership and parenting and fatherhood have appeared in "The Jerusalem Post" and "The Jewish Week," and he blogs for Times of Israel. A Red Sox and Patriots fan, he lives on the USW with his wife, Julie Walpert, and their sons, Joseph and Benjamin.
