Steve Eisenberg

Steve Eisenberg is a risk arbitrage specialist who previously served as a Vice President at Bear Stearns and a Managing Director at the investment firm Ehrenkrantz King Nussbaum, Inc., Steve juggles a demanding Wall Street career with a passionate commitment to Jewish outreach programming. In addition to delivering JICNY’s flagship weekly Torah class on Monday evenings in Manhattan, he also manages JICNY’s Job Assistance website and coordinates the organization’s networking events. A gifted speaker and a celebrated educator, Steve is frequently invited to speak at events around the world and develops programs for outreach organizations across the United States.

Rabbi Shalom Morris

Rabbi Shalom Morris Rabbi Shalom is the Educational Director at Congregation Shearith Israel, the Spanish & Portuguese Synagogue of New York.  There, he works closely with JICNY to create a synagogue home for Torah study and prayer for 20s and 30s on the Upper West Side. He teaches weekly classes, from Basic Judaism to Jewish History, as well as leads a Beginners Service every Shabbat. Rabbi Morris grew up in Rochester, NY, and comes from a rabbinic family.  His maternal grandfather and great grandfather (Rabbis David and Eliezer Silver z’l) were leading American rabbis in the 20th century.  Rabbi Morris received rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University, where he is currently pursuing a PhD in early American/Sephardic Jewish history. He works closely with descendants of Marranos (Iberian forced converts), helping them to reconnect with their Jewish roots.  In total, Rabbi Morris has devoted his life so serving the Jewish community, warmly engaging both those within and beyond the mainstream. 

Mrs. Devorah Kigel

Mrs. Devorah Kigel Before becoming a successful dating and marriage coach, Devorah held positions at various Jewish organizations, including the Anti-Defamation League, Hadassah, Isralight, and the Jewish Renaissance Center. She has been teaching classes on Judaism for women for more than 12 years, teaching for Discovery, MJE, JICNY, NYU, Rutgers and Touro College among others. Devorah prepares brides for their wedding by teaching kallah classes, and hosts Shabbos guests every week. Her husband works for a kiruv organization called Emet doing college campus outreach on the CUNY campuses and in Queens. Devorah shares her personal journey and clearly addresses the questions we all have on topics like a woman’s role, sexuality, dating and marriage.

Slovie Jungreis-Wolff

Slovie Jungreis-Wolff Slovie is a freelance writer, and a relationships and parenting instructor. She is the daughter of Rebbetzin Esther Jungreis, founder of Hineni International. Slovie has taught Hineni Young Couples and Parenting classes for more than 15 years. Her book, Raising A Child With Soul, is published by St. Martin's Press
