Yaffa Silverberg was born in 1941 during world war two in the Lukov ghetto in occupied Poland. She Was saved by a non Jewish family who raised her from the age of six months till the end of the war. She made Aliya at the age of 4.5 with her aunt and spent 10 years going from place to place in Israel. At the age of 14.5 she was reunited with her father in America. She recently returned to Israel and leads tours at Yad V'shem.
