I spent my childhood in a suburb of Los Angeles, then moved to northern California to attend the University of California Davis for undergraduate. I finished college a year early and took that year to volunteer for and Israeli NGO in Nepal doing economic development projects in a rural village. While working there I realized my life's professional goal was to become a social worker. I moved to New York this fall to attend Columbia University School of Social Work. Upon my arrival in New York I was looking to meet Jewish people and google brought me to JICNY.
