Jessica Wiesenberg was born in Barranquilla, Colombia and moved to Miami, Florida when she was 12 years old. Having a mother and a grandmother always involved in Jewish communities, she learned from their examples and has been involved helping Jewish organizations for many years. After graduation Jessica decided to move to New York City and attend Yeshiva University, Sy Syms School of Business. As the Co-President of the Basic Jewish Studies Club, a club for students who have limited background in Judaism and the Co-President of the Sy Syms School of business marketing club, Jessica promotes on campus events, career-related activities and lectures for students as well as organize trips and programs with speakers to meet needs of niche groups. Jessica is also a Resident Advisor in the student dorms. Through her many experiences and leadership skills gained, Jessica also wanted to get involved outside of her school, and contacted JICNY to work as an intern. She will continue to show her passion and love for the Jewish people by working for the organization of JICNY.
