Jodi Samuels

Jodi Samuels has over 20 years of business management and startup experience and she voluntarily serves as the Executive Director of JICNY. She has worked in the not-for-profit, finance, fashion and beauty sectors and successfully started two non-profit Jewish organizations including the Jewish International Connection NY that currently boasts 10,000 members from 40 countries. Three years ago she launched jmedia connections and she has successfully built jdeal – a Jewish daily deal site, Buy Israel Week - an initiative to combat the BDS movement and jblasts – an email blast network with extensive reach into the US Jewish market. She is the co-founder of Metroimma, an online site for Jewish moms, with over 6000 active monthly members. Her latest initiative is jgives.com a destination site to give charity. Jodi started her first business at age 14. Her expertise in strategic and relationship online marketing has given her the foundation to acquire and retain a strong membership base for her businesses. After having a child with special needs, Jodi started a blog and became an activist and educator in the Jewish community with the rallying cry "let my people in". Jodi is known as a connector and networker in the Jewish community and has an impressive Rolodex of C-level contacts in the business and non-profit sectors.    

Oren Adler

Oren Adler Oren is a partner at the accounting firm of Gideon Adler & Co., CPAs with offices in the USA and Israel. His expertise spans the full spectrum of accounting, tax and financial statement services for both businesses and individuals. Oren is an active and involved member of his NYC community, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.

David Fishof David runs an ever-expanding Rock 'n Roll Fantasy Camp empire. As the first executive to combine the world of professional sports and rock 'n roll, he earned Performance Magazine’s prestigious ‘Innovator of the Year’ award, among many other accolades.

Mark (Naftali) Horowitz

Mark (Naftali) Horowitz Mark serves as Vice President of Bernstein Global Wealth Management. He earned degrees in advanced Talmudic law and finance. Mark sits on the boards of many non-profit organizations and foundations.

Jeffrey Schachter

Jeffrey Schachter Jeffrey is co-founder and managing partner at Cedarview Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund with $135 million under management. He began his Wall Street career at Jefferies & Company and was part of the initial startup of BancBoston Robertson Stephens' high-yield effort from January 1997- May 2000.

Jennifer Smorgon

Jennifer Smorgon Jennifer is a founder of Dream Catcher, a program through the Reach Foundation that creates job opportunities and internships for underprivileged youth. Previously, she served as president of the Sydney, Australia chapter of WIZO (Women's International Zionist Organization) and as a volunteer bereavement counselor. Jennifer is a board member at the Manhattan Jewish Experience and the Jack and Robert Smorgon Families Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to Australian and global philanthropic pursuits

Lydia Sarfati

Lydia Sarfati Lydia Sarfati is the Founder and CEO of Repêchage, the first company to bring seaweed-based skincare treatments and cosmetics to the U.S market. Ms. Sarfati is an international industry leader and the developer of the world-renowned Repêchage® Four- Layer Facial®, what Cosmopolitan UK has called "the best facial of the century." Today, together with her husband David Sarfati, Co-Founder and COO, Sarfati owns a 50,000 square foot manufacturing, research, development and training facility in Secaucus, NJ. Vegan and natural-based, all Repêchage professional products and treatments are made in the United States, and are sold in over 40 countries worldwide. Lydia was born in Legnica, Poland, a city close to the Czech and German borders. Her mother was a survivor of the Russian labor camps and her Polish father was a survivor of the Holocaust. In the late 1968 when there was renewed anti-Semitism in Poland, Lydia's family was forced to flee, first to Italy, ultimately settling in the United States. She began her career in beauty as a makeup artist, custom-blending cosmetics in a Madison Avenue salon in New York. She received her license in esthetics in early 1973, and in 1977, opened Klisar, the first day spa in Manhattan. In 1980, she launched the Repêchage treatments and products based on seaweed, opening the new Repêchage Spa de Beauté on Third Ave in 1986, and later in the Galleria building on 57th Street. Sarfati was one of the pioneers in the field of esthetics in the U.S. setting the professional and business standards for the industry. Her skincare method is practiced by top estheticians around the world and is taught in over 200 schools in the US and globally; the Lydia Sarfati Post-Graduate Skin Care Academy located in Secaucus, offers master courses taught by Lydia once a year in addition to the advanced education classes available at the Academy on a monthly basis. Sarfati is author of “Success at Your Fingertips.” Written to help salon and spa professionals achieve professional success, it was published in the US in 2005, in Poland in 2014 and in Romania in the Fall, 2015. Ms. Sarfati was also a founding President of the EMDA (Esthetics Manufacturer and Distributor Alliance), and she is the honorary chairman CIDESCO USA. Mrs. Sarfati is a Honorary Mentor at Dietl University,Poland. In 2014, Sarfati was named Honorary Ambassador to Legnica, Poland, her home city, by the President of Legnica, Thadeusz Krzakowski.
