Who's Who at JICNY

Alana Tendler, Executive Director JICNY

This month, we introduce Alana Tendler, the newest member of our JICNY team. In October, Alana will join our organization as the Executive Director of JICNY. Originally from Short Hills, a suburban town in New Jersey, Alana currently lives in Manhattan. Raised in a Jewish household, Alana's childhood is filled with memories of weekly Shabbat dinners and holidays with family, fun, delicious food, all associated with a feeling of warmth, love and community that she has worked to maintain in her adult life.

Alana is a lay leader on the Commission of Jewish Peoplehood of New York at UJA. She also does hands on volunteer work through the Met Council. She has traveled extensively to places including Israel, Australia, South East Asia, Central America and Europe.

Alana is thrilled to work with the International Jewish community and the JICNY team is very excited for Alana to join us!
