Benjamin Mizrahi

Benjamin Mizrahi

Benjamin was born in Haifa, Israel. His parents, Hannah and Haim Mizrahi raised him together with his brother, Yonatan, who is currently serving in the IDF. Following his graduation from Yavne Yeshiva high-school, Benjamin joined the IDF as an educational trainer at Israel’s highest ranking military boarding school, Beit Biram Military Academy. “While serving in IDF, I was able to develop essential critical thinking and leadership skills which I now successfully integrate into all aspects of my life”. After his resignation as a first-sergeant, Benjamin decided to leave Israel temporarily to gain a grasp on the Israeli-Palestinian dispute from international eyes. While living in the States, Benjamin served in various humanitarian activities and interacted with diverse segments of societies simultaneously with his studying at Yeshiva University. Benjamin is supposed to graduate in May 2010, and he hopes to attend second degree in Public Policy and Law. “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give” (Winston Churchill).
