The Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty has a senior lunch program at their low income housing site on 3rd avenue and they receive around 25 seniors every week. JICNY brings s a volunteer groups of 8-10 people to help set up the room, serve the lunch, clean up, and - most importantly - socialize with the seniors.
Join JICNY to help them !!! YOU can make a difference.
Volunteers arrive by 12pm and leave by 2:30pm. These times include orientation, set up and clean up.
